Box-out shutters made of indented steel plate are used as permanent formwork or recesses. They offer an effective solu-tion for the precise alignment of precast columns, which are often used for industrial buildings. The profile of the box-out shutters meets the highest requirements of the “indented” category of DIN EN 1992-1-1.
Another option for indenting construction joints is the plastic joint profile former. It creates an optimum structure on the concrete surface for transferring shear forces.
